[Overview]

Thank you for visiting my site. I am a Technical Analyst, Author, Freelance Technology Writer/Blogger and Consultant.

I have many years of experience in most of the major areas of Information Technology - from Management to Development to Technical Writing.  My experience ranges from Linux/Unix, all of the Windows OS's since Windows 3.0, Mac OS, Novell Netware and even some OS/2.  Web Databases have been a passion of mine for a few years now and I have worked with MySQL, MS SQL Server, SQLite, and Oracle.  For programming, I typically use PHP, Perl, and Unix shell scripts but also have significant development experience using C# and .NET Technologies with Visual Studio 2003 and 2005.

My current pursuits are Windows and Linux server support, Open Source software, Apple products, writing, filmmaking, photography (digital and film/lomography). As a freelance writer and technologist, I take on new work on a project-by-project basis.
